Linh Dam village may be damaged

Hanoi's quick development is making people's lives improve everyday, but ancient and cultural places like Linh Dam village is being threatened seriously although villagers are still trying to keep an old-time appearance for their place . Recently, Hanoi politicians decided to ratify a project of preserving Linh Dam village and turning it into an ecological village. The project aims to turn the 16.7ha area (with a population of 1,254) into an ecological village, developing a modern infrastructure and preserving historical and cultural relics. Most local residents agreed with this project but some are concerning about the time and trying to sell their land to people who want to build modern appartments. It takes a lot of money to carry out the project, so the most important thing is seeking investors.
